Mother / Daughter Monologues

Women's
stories are important to all societies and given an equal chance, can help to
make the societies and communities in which we live more equal and just. At
present, theatre programmes around the world are dominated by the work of male
playwrights.
The International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP) is a public charity which
exists to ensure that plays written by women are produced, published and
promoted to the same extent as plays by male writers.
Mother / Daughter Monologues
The ICWP has just published a collection of monologues on the theme of
mother/daughter relationships from teens to seniors. Over ninety monologues by
playwrights from around the world are presented in four volumes.
Volume 1 - Babes and Beginnings
Volume 2 – Thirty Somethings
Volume 4 – Mid-life Catharsis
Volume 5 – Urgent Maturity
Readings of monologues from each volume are available for
download at a cost of US$3.50 here.
When you buy these downloads you can be assured that the funds will be going
directly to assist ICWP to fulfil its mission. All the playwrights and readers
donated their work to make these recordings possible and we thank PIVTR for
making them available for your appreciation and enjoyment.
