Wikipedia's definition of an entrepreneur is used to refer to anyone who undertakes the organization and management of an enterprise involving independence and risk as well as the opportunity of profit. Entrepreneur is translated from the French root, which means "one who undertakes."
Entrepreneurship is the solution to economic stimulus and recovery! Entrepreneurs contribute to the economy by bringing new technology or ideas to the market. They hire people, which helps stimulate the economy. Their businesses provide revenue from taxes, which are used for many services at the local, state, and national levels.
According to the SBA Office of Advocacy, small businesses (defined as less than five hundred employees) reprensent 99.7% of all employers and employ about half of all prive sector employees.
